Algebra Refresher (ref A1)
Material to help students prepare for a university mathematics course. The current cost is £125 for 100 copies to members of staff in UKHE institutions. Please send an order with advance payment stating how many are required to the Administrator, Maths, Stats & OR Network, The University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 2TT, quoting reference A1.

As an alternative, a PDF version can be downloaded (in English or Welsh) for inhouse printing and distribution from the mathcentre.

Calculus Refresher (ref A2)

Maths support for students (ref M2)

As Engineering and Science departments face the problems of inadequate mathematical preparation by students, many are setting in place networks of support-based activities, eg maths learning centres. This booklet presents examples of these initiatives through a series of case studies.
